Motivation:

The designing of layouts is a constant balance between the laws of nature and human creativity. Designers must meet the demand for shrinking feature sizes and anticipate optical distortions, proximity effects, and process variability. In this process, BEAMER and Python transform complexity into repeatable workflows and faster iteration, enabling us to tackle the challenges of the advanced semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Solution:

BEAMER provides the tools to perform corrections and to set complex exposure strategies. Additionally, the Python module, together with the LayoutPy library, eases the creation of layouts and implementation of flows, all in a single environment.
